Three-Tailed Swallowtail - Papilio pilumnus - female

Three-Tailed Swallowtail - Papilio pilumnus - Female
Mexico, Texas, Arizona -- placeholder
Similar to the Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus) but much smaller, the Three-Tailed Swallowtails here are ovipositing on Red Bay.

Hello, Allen,
would you mind sharing, if you can recall, where this nice photo was taken? I was checking to see what bugguide had for Arizona. Though this species occurs in the extreme SE of Arizona, the photo seems to have been taken farther east. Redbay (Persea borbonia )doesn't occur naturally in AZ. Since this butterfly seems to appear in the U.S. only as a rare stray, it would be of interest to know where, and when sighted.
