Hymenopteran - Brachyponera chinensis

Hymenopteran - Brachyponera chinensis
Athens/ Sandy Creek Park, Clarke County, Georgia, USA
February 7, 2012
On a wet mulch heap. Formicidae? Parasitica?

Moved
Moved from Ants.

Formicidae: Ponerinae
A male, but without dimensions and a view from the side showing petiole and abdominal terminalia, hard to get the genus. It does look a bit like the invasive Pachycondyla chinensis, though.

I would second the Pachycondyla chinensis det.

Formicidae
