I don't even remember where I found this thing. It was in one of my dishes next to a moth I was photographing, It could have even been in my house and died in the dish naturally.

Under a microscope I can see it's almost clear and green with black dots thoughout the elytra. It has pretty tiny antenne but it's back legs seem pretty long for the body size.

Yes, very nice find thank you for pointing me to the right direction. The next question that begs is how on earth did it get on to my computer desk. I haven't been around a pond in months.. lol
