Rhionaeschna multicolor
This is Rhionaeschna multicolor (Blue-eyed Darner). R. mutata (Spatterdock Darner) is very similar, but it isn't known that far west.

Teneral Aeshna Darner
It is a teneral (just emerged) Aeshna sp. (Darner). However, without a look at the thoracic stripes, I am not sure of the species.
