I found these on Pale Coneflower (E. pallida)in a remnant tallgrass prairie. The elytra were dark with a greenish tinge to them and the upper end of the legs reddish.

Thanks, I keep working on trying to...
put square pegs into round holes on identification. I pulled up an article that lists the known host plants for mozardi... a lot! I need to go scour the various clovers now and see if any are on them. http://www.fcla.edu/FlaEnt/fe93p125.pdf
