It looks like a fungus or predator got to it and this morning had small white eliptical shaped things all over it.. so sad, so I guess the comment " it looks either sick or like it's shedding" was right! It was sick..

a buckmoth thats either sick or about to shed its skin

 
think
it did shed, seems larger today, BUT looks the same coloring and all.. so I put it in a lep rearing container with fresh wingstem..so far so good..

looks like I need to find that tomorrow and raise it if I can..
