Moved to Microtheoris vibicalis
Moved from Yellow-veined Moth.

Tentative ID. I agree with Russell Pfau but I think there is still some small uncertainty.

There are several subspecies of ophionalis described in Munroe (1972), MONA Fascicle 13.1B. Unfortunately, the illustrations are in a separate volume which is out of print and has not been available used for years, at least when I have checked.

A strongly oblique am. band separates vibicalis from ophionalis. This feature is faintly seen in both this and the image by Russell Pfau referenced below. However, faintly marked ophionalis can have shading in the am to medial area which approaches Russell Pfau's example.

The inward pointing tooth on the pm. band near the inner margin mentioned in a comment by Russell Pfau does seem to be evident on all barcoded examples of ophionalis and none of the vibicalis examples. Paratypes for M. o. eremica, lacustris and occidentalis are shown at BOLD and all have the tooth. There are also images identified as baboquivariensis which show the tooth. This feature is not mentioned by Munroe.

M. vibicalis, I think
I think this is M. vibicalis. See barcoded specimen here along with my notes.
