Mayfly - Maccaffertium

Mayfly - Maccaffertium
Picnic Point, Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
May 20, 2012
This landed on my hand long enough for me to get a few pictures. It appears to be a mayfly, Stenonema femoratumon, and I'm looking for someone who knows mayflies better to verify that. It was at Picnic Point, which is a piece of land that juts out into Lake Mendota.

Maccaffertium
Hi Callen,

The forewings of Stenonema femoratum have crowded cross veins at its bulla. I believe this mayfly male imago to be of genus Maccaffertium.
