Wonderful & useful resource!

I've been studying this monograph and am very impressed by the quality of scholarship, the wealth of information and figures (including copious electron micro-photography!)...and, of course, by the wonderful moths of the genus Greya! The details of their life histories and the similarities with Yucca Moths are a marvel (for further references on this, look under "Remarks" on the info pages here and here.)

A lot of Greya species range into my neck of the woods (California) and use host plants that I'm familiar with. I'll have to keep on the look-out for them.

The link in your present entry above leads to the general search page for the entire "Smithsonian Contributions in Zoology" series, which is a useful resource...but somewhat roundabout for the specific citation here. (One has to do a secondary search, e.g. on "Greya", to get to the download page for the desired PDF.)

Here is a direct link to the 50MB PDF for Volume 524 on Greya by Davis, Pellmyr, and Thompson.

It's a very impressive scholarly work!
