Moved from Owlet Moths.

It's within the range of variation for Feralia major. The next most likely candidate would be F. comstocki, but that species typically has much more black scaling on the FW.

Thank you for the correction and the information for the future.

Larry, all I could find was which looks like it varies a lot and has been seen in Tennessee, but I am not confident enough to make a placement.
