mayfly nymph - Drunella doddsii

mayfly nymph - Drunella doddsii
Sierra City, Sierra County, California, USA
July 1, 2006

Lloyd
Thanks for confirming Kerry's identification.

W. green drake
Femur width and shelf at front of head indicate Drunella doddsii.

Ephemerellidae sp.
Looks like a Drunella.

Maybe...
Drunella doddsi, the front edge of the first femora and the "horns" (visible between the antennae and eyes) seem familiar.

Mayfly ID's
Don and Kerry, thanks for all the mayfly nymph ID's.
