Tenebrionidae sp. - Blapstinus metallicus

Tenebrionidae sp. - Blapstinus metallicus
Middleburg, Clay County, Florida, USA
May 20, 2012
Size: 4.6mm
Collected at black light. Definitely a Teneb, but as how they give me all sorts of fits, I will
ask the wizards to get me started. The stria and punctations are "dull". No really well defined
characters. My first try netted me w/Hymenoch*ara, but it does not look like the guide image.
Appreciate assistance.

Moved from Darkling Beetles.

pls correct date

looks like a Blapstinus of some kind
(metallicus?)

Blapstinus metallicus would be my best guess, too

B. metallicus
Thanks V and Blaine: As you are well aware, Teneb's give me trouble,
for what reason I don't fathom as I have lots of documentation. But
then again, only 35 other families do that also. The date thing is
happening more lately, probably my system doing it somehow.
