interesting
I have found that finding characters to separate larval Glossosoma is difficult. So I find this sclerite character very interesting. I see on your blog you reference a publication by Beaty. I am not aware of that publication so would you please send me a complete reference? Thanks alot!

Beaty's manuals for Ephemerop
Beaty's manuals for Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Trichoperta, and Coleoperta are on line at: http://portal.ncdenr.org/web/wq/taxonmanual

As an amateur, I couldn't do species level work without them.

thanks
the paper with the info is Wymer, D. A. and J. C. Morse. 2000. I knew about that one. Apparently I cannot keep up with the web based info. Not surprising I guess as I cannot keep up with printed stuff either :-)
