Scolops abnormis? - Scolops abnormis

Scolops abnormis? - Scolops abnormis
Claremont, Los Angeles County, California, USA
May 28, 2012
This insect was spotted on Asclepias eriocarpa (Kotolo or Indian Milkweed) at the Claremont Colleges’ Robert J. Bernard Biological Field Station. I think it is a teneral Scolops abnormis. It looks almost exactly like this one:

which was photographed at the field station two years ago.

Confirmation or correction will be greatly appreciated!
