Pyrausta grotei?
That would be my best guess also!
Range map for
P. grotei
at
MPG
seems to support this species.
the nearest other visual possibility is
P. signatalis
, which seems to be an primarily eastern species:
MPG
.

Pyrausta grotei in Oregon
I have 3 in my collection from Mt. Ashland, Jackson Co., OR dated 28 VI, 1981. It's not that new. At the time I just based the ID on the Pyralid fascicle that dealt with these. They are virtually identical to the photo posted, this ID is my best guess too. Wolf Creek's not that far north.
