Bumelia borer - Plinthocoelium suaveolens
Lake Dallas, Denton County, Texas, USA

This bright green longhorn beetle was feeding on a banana in my butterfly feeder late afternoon today. The beetle was calm and let me move it to a leaf temporarily for better photos. It resumed feeding when I put it back into the feeder.
