Laphria thoracica
These are actually robber flies, Laphria thoracica. This color morph is superficially similar to Mallota sp. because they likely mimic the same species of bumblebee.

Not mallota
These are Robberflies, in the genus Laphria. While you wait for an id, you can use the search function, using the genus name to take a peek through the species pages.
