Moved
Moved from ID Request. Thanks, looks good.

Looks like..
Something close to Archips.

Thanks!
Archips georgiana - Hodges#3656 and Argyrotaenia tabulana (Lodgepole needletier moth - Hodges#3603) both seem close.

Moth Conundrums
For that very reason, I avoid shooting moths starting with 'A' or 'plume' :)

No
It started with "S", see "Small red moth"
Does Archips have the tuft on the back?

Tuft - as long as they can keep it
Look at the mottling pattern of your dorsal view. It doesn't match 3656. However, it very closely follows the pattern of a Lodgepole. Open in different windows and you'll see what I'm talking about.
