The Cicadas I've seen in Toronto are usually greyer, certainly not with these brown markings.

Okanagana sp.
There are three similar looking species with potentailly overlapping ranges.

Okanagana rimosa (usu. more patterned and orangish)
O. canadensis (usu. darker with more contrasting yellowish pattern)
O. balli (smallest member and typically associated with Prairies)
