Size: Length ~ 1.5 cm
This specimen looks like an example of the dark morph of the Spruce Budworm Moth (3638), I think. This specimen was collected and is archived in the NDSIRC at NDSU, Fargo, North Dakota (contact Dr. Gerald Fauske).
