Spaelotis bicava
I think that is Spaelotis bicava - a western species which was described by D. Lafontaine in 1998 (The Moths of America North of Mexico: Vol. 27, No. 3). The shape of the basal dash, antemedial and postmedial lines and the coloration of thorax and collar make me think so.

10973 - Xestia vernilis Looks Very Much Like This...
... there are also a couple of Setagrotis (10974-75) on a Vargo Plate at MPG with somewhat less resemblance in my view. I'm going to save this for MPG as 10973 until someone corrects me.

Note Added [Thanks to Jan for correcting me. I will add Vargo's photo of Spaelotis bicava next to X. vernilis so that the features that Jan has pointed to can be observed and compared.]
