Aquatic Leaf Beetle - Donacia cincticornis
Ballston Lake, Saratoga County, New York, USA
June 8, 2012
Size: 8 mm
Collected from an ash tree. There is a small frog pond a few hundred feet away, but it is very shallow and doesn't have any aquatic plants. There is also a lake about a half mile away, with water lilies and such. ID help appreciated.

is what I came up with using Marx's key. Let's see if I come up with the same thing using Epler (which I just "discovered" - duh-oh!)
