Euphilotes battoides or bernardino? - Euphilotes - Female

This small blue was visiting California Buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum var. foliolosum) at the Claremont Colleges’ Robert J. Bernard Biological Field Station. I think it is either Euphilotes battoides (Square-spotted Blue) or Euphilotes bernardino (Bernardino Blue), but I don't know how to tell them apart. Any information will be greatly appreciated!
