Rhectocraspeda periusalis?
The one you linked to in the description looks like Herpetogramma phaeopteralis, but this one looks like Rhectocraspeda periusalis to me. The wing shape is a bit different, and this one lacks the speckled appearance of Herpetogramma phaeopteralis. Its PM line is also not quite as wavy. I've never seen Rhectocraspeda periusalis in person myself, so I hesitate to move the image just based on comparing the photos, but it might be worth looking into Rhectocraspeda periusalis. It looks like it's one that isn't well represented on Bugguide or MPG...

Not saying it is or isn't, but
Monica Krancevic's comments on her R. perisualis image talk about the white hindwing fringe, a feature that seems pretty consistent across Bugguide images of R. perisualis and absent from Robert's moth.

Herpetogramma ?
Paul,
Thanks for a new perspective. My sheet is literally covered with Herpetogramma in late summer and fall, so much so, I don't even bother to photograph any more. As you can tell from my comment, I was uncertain of the ID. Next summer, I will start paying them more attention to them.
Robert
