large orange bumble bee? - Bombus borealis

large orange bumble bee? - Bombus borealis
Fairfield, Somerset County, Maine, USA
June 14, 2012
It was at least 20mm body
It looked dark orange to my eye (even thought it was some red!) but is not so distinct in the photos, not sure why, maybe the hairs reflect the light...
It seemed so orange, that it visually stood out in a large open meadow from over 60 yards. (The only reason I noticed it.)
It was probably larger and hairier than other bumble bees I see around here.

Well, it was neat, and I was wondering what kind it is?
Thanks
