From the same time/place/population as companion post here...see that post for more info.

Initially I thought the thin yellow transverse band on the thorax might be significant...however it's not very (barely?) apparent on Natalie McNear's post here. But, in his discussion of Cephus clavatus, Middlekauff remarks that: "Both males and females vary greatly in their color patterns".

Calameuta clavata (Norton), male. Color does vary, and the narrow yellow band on the pronotum doesn't mean much.
