Prionus
Looks like a Longhorned Beetle, probably genus Prionus. I don't know the Pacific coast beetles; if this isn't Prinous then it would be in that subfamily anyhow.

Longhorn yes, Prionus no.
You did not indicate a size for this specimen, but I recognize it as one of the lepturine flower longhorns, albeit not a colorful one:-) Moving to that guide page. Prionus in your area are reddish brown, and HUGE.
