Found under a board, and when they were startled, they were the fastest running ants I've ever seen.

Formica sp. (pallidefulva group) - worker
Being at once leggy and nervous, that makes an ant run very fast. Related genus Cataglyphis, from arid regions of Old World, are the fastest af all living ants.

The Formica pallidefulva grou
The Formica pallidefulva group was recently revised taxonomically. See this article for all the gory details: http://antbase.org/ants/publications/21293/21293.pdf .
Look like Formica dolosa, indeed a fast and furtive ant.
