False Click Beetle - Stethon pectorosus

Size: about 9 mm
I've added some more recent images of this first-of-its-family beetle (for me and for bugguide) and replaced one of the first set of images.

Although it's small and brown -- two strikes against it interest-wise -- it has some unusual characteristics that ought to be depicted thoroughly.
