Beetle ID 3 - Stator limbatus

Beetle ID 3 - Stator limbatus
San Ramon, California, USA
July 22, 2006
Size: 2mm or so
Here's a nice beetle for the experts to ID, it has me rather stumped. The eleytra don't cover all of the abdomen, and are brown with puncture striations. They also have a black line running down the area where they meet in the center and a black spot on the outer side of each one. The head is really small and the antennae are bicolored and kind of funny looking.
