Size: 4-5 mm
The individuals collected were all females laying their eggs on the host plant (Spiked thistle?). Could someone identify these ladies at species level?

They look like Entylia carinata to me
but I could be wrong

They feed on a variety of herbaceous plants, preferring Asteraceae.

I also suppose they could be Entylia carinata. But I cannot exclude other possible IDs such as Entylia concisa or E. bactriana.

 
All the same species.
Entylia bactriana is synonymous with E. carinata and E. concisa is now a subspecies of E. carinata
