Am not sure how far s. into TX A. ferrisi ranges. I've never encountered it...

After studying the image from Calhoun Co., I would call it Agrilus macer LeConte.

You are absolutely correct! Brain burp on my part...too intent on getting out of here and heading to the coast for R&R! Thanks for setting me straight, Mike. In the future, perhaps I should stick to Acmaeodera.
