I didn't see the spider...I just wanted to know what kind of spider weaves this kind of web?

Moved from Spiders. I'm not sure how to rule out Sossipus mimus which is found in AR (thanks to Kryon for that info by email), but I think that funnelweb spiders are so much more common that this ID is likely.

Family Agelenidae - Funnel Weavers
create this type of web, but I'd like to see the spider to be certain.

There are other less common spiders that should be considered. Like the funnel web wolf spider


I don't know if you have any of those in Arkansas though.
