Size: 2cm
Found on an area of no bark on a large maple at riverside. My colleague Reggie Webster said that it was a Dicerca species, one of two similar ones in the region.

Identification
Likely either Dicerca divaricata or D. tenebrica; however, I would need a more dorsally oriented shot--so we can clearly see the nature of the pronotum--in order to be more positive.
