Hairy May Beetle or Paracotalpa? - Phyllophaga crenulata

Hairy May Beetle or Paracotalpa? - Phyllophaga crenulata
Oak Ridge, Guilford County, North Carolina, USA
Size: ~13mm
Porch light visitor.

Can't locate on BG. I thought it would be Paracotalpa, but maybe not.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Phyllophaga sp.
Paracotalpa is a western genus

So many phyllophaga!
But this is the one!
THanks, Brad.

There are a number of hairy species
Accurate species ID would require dissection.

OK, should we
put in Unspecified Phyllophaga?

P. crenulata is probably the most likely
It would be ok to leave here tentatively.
