Based on my Utah experience I'd call this Lycaena helloides, but Lycaena nivalis can't be ruled out. Rubida would be much more reddish and hyllus doesn't occur near Logan. Its a male.

I might be wrong on this one!
These are often geographically variable.
The Ruddy Copper ssp. ferrisi


It also looks a bit like the more eastern Lycaena hyllus (Bronze Copper)
