Young Ski-tipped Emerald female - Somatochlora elongata -

Kouchibouguac National Park, trail near park HQ, Kent County, New Brunswick, Canada

This female landed not far from me and stayed perched in this position for about 90 seconds, then flew off to pursue other matters. She was never netted, so is perched "naturally".
