Lace Bug - Gargaphia

Lace Bug - Gargaphia
San Pedro River Valley, SE of San Manuel, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
June 8, 2012
Found on a Silverleaf Nightshade (Solanum elaeagnifolium) near a pond, I think this is Eggplant Lace Bug (Gargaphia solani), although the angle of the paranota seems sharper; perhaps it could be Garaphia angulata for which I cannot find a photo. Thank you in advance for your help.

Gargaphia arizonica or iridescens?
Gargaphia is a genus with a large number of species with many contradictions. Your image looks like three separate species, G. arizonica, iridescens, and condensa. I can't see enough detail of the cells on paranota and other areas to help me decide on the species. A number of Gargaphia species feed on nightshade plants, so I can't use that as a sole reference. If you happen to find it again and on the same host plant, please try taking more images of the paranota and wings where I can see the cells as well as a lateral view, or if possible, collect the specimen and mail it to me to study under the microscope.

Thank you Laura
I appreciate your time and effort. I'll keep an eye out for this next year and try to get better photos and collect a specimen for you.
