BBB - big brown bug

BBB - big brown bug
Westford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
June 25, 2012
Size: 2 1/8 inches long
Found dead in a marshy area at the edge of a subdivision (actually the backyard of The Butterfly Place in Westford, MA). The thin white lines you can see are something like spider web - not part of the bug.

Dragonfly exuviae
The cast skin of a dragonfly nymph. Family Aeshnidae. I don't think I can do much better from this photo.
