Nice Life Cycle series, Ilona.
I've seen all three of these stages over here in eastern Wisconsin, but never realized they were all the same species!

I was disappointed at first when I realized the larva was a sawfly rather than a caterpillar but it all worked out for the best. Lucky that this was a sawfly that developed in a short time period rather than one that had to be kept over winter.
