Size: 3.0 mm
Empty pupal case and newly emerged adult Steelblue Ladybeetle. Exoskeleton not fully sclerotized and blue-green iridescence not yet present.

Nice catch
Teneral ladybugs are rather poorly documented. It is interesting to see how greyish this species appears when it has emerged. That is proof that there is no reddish pigment at work unlike Chilocorus, which are brown when teneral.
