Paralyzed Black Widow? - Latrodectus mactans - female

Paralyzed Black Widow? - Latrodectus mactans - Female
SEMINOLE, Seminole County, Oklahoma, USA
June 26, 2012
Found this Black Widow on my porch near a widow web. It was just laying there flexible, but not moving. It seemed to have no control. I think it might have been paralyzed by a spider wasp, and then maybe interrupted?

Paralyzed Black Widow?
That sounds like a reasonable assumption. I suppose another spider might have also gotten at it. It looks like a Southern Black Widow to me.

The web she was near
I think belonged to a male widow... maybe he ran her off? I have a photo of him, when I caught him out of his hidey hole. I'll post that too. But feel free to frass these if not needed.
