Moth to ID - Amblyptilia pica
Sun Peaks resort, British Columbia, Canada

Not a very good view for identifying anything but it was the only position I had the chance to photograph it. It was taken fairy high up at a ski resort this past weekend with the temp. well into the 80's, a short distance away the temp reached 120f.

6118 -- Geranium Plume Moth -- Amblyptilia pica
I received another photo yesterday of this species from someone in southern California. The heat wave out west makes our muggy summer weather feel almost comfortable.
