More info on location: I think it was in those mountains that I mentioned very close to Pine Springs Ranch.

Well i did some digging. What do you think about a (Mountain Mahogany Hairstreak)Satyrium tetra. I am no expert but this is the only one that resembled your photo.

This site may help a little too.

It is hard to tell though.
