Thanks Brady. They're both variable in pattern, so I see where they can be hard to tell apart.

 
Tough, but fun!
I have specimens of both species here, but all of my B. champlaini are of the unicolorous form. It will be interesting to see who your turns out to be.

Brachyleptura sp.
I think it's either B. vagans or B. champlaini, but I have difficulty separating the two. Hopefully, someone else will know which this is.
