caterpillar - Acrolepiopsis heppneri

caterpillar - Acrolepiopsis heppneri
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
June 30, 2012
The caterpillar formed one of the lacy pupal covers. Based on the lacy cocoon and the host plant it seems that this caterpillar/moth is in the Acrolepiopsis genus. I see there are two postings for similar cocoons so I know what kind of moth to look for.
