Atlantic bluet, Enallagma doubledayi? - Enallagma doubledayi - Male
Lake Pam, Stockton College Campus, Atlantic County, New Jersey, USA
July 25, 2006
A sometimes-numerous species in certain spots in South Jersey, according to Bob Barber and others, though hard to ID (for me, at least). I believe this shows the field marks noted in Lam, e.g. length of cerci half the length of segment 10; small tear-drop shaped eyespots; and prominent occipital bar. I'll attach two close-ups.

"Lake Pam" is an old burrow pit, where E. doubledayi has bred for many years. Entomologist Hal White identified several in hand there a few years ago.
