Possibly
Possibly, that is a nice match, though mine was not as metallic blue as some of the specimens on bugguide

Well
I don't think it is Ceratophaga vicinella because that is a long winged micro, and my micro had short wings. But Stigmella resplendensella looks possible. I have attached two more pics, though not better, but they provide a different angle and might be able to pinpoint the id between S. resplendsella and Paraclemensia acerifoliella.

Maybe, but...
That was my initial thought, and the body is the best fitting out of all the possibilities. There are two things that don't quite agree though:
- first, the antenna on the Goldcap Moss-eater is very thick, not like mine. Maybe there are some though that don't have thick antennae
- I found my moth at my moth sheet. Goldcap Moss-eaters aren't attracted to light, atleast from what I have heard. But maybe some might wander to a light??
Maybe someone with experience with 0001 could answer those questions. But besides that it looks like a great fit.

So...
I took another look at the possibilities and came to these conclusions:
- this is not Stigmella resplendensella because that is a Nepticulid and the shape of my moth doesn't really agree with a Nepticulid (I have been seeing a few Nepticulids at my sheet these past few days)
- I don't believe this is Doleromorpha porphyria, another similar micro, as that is a Tineid and my micro does not appear to be a Tineid, as it has the wrong shape
So the other viable option is Goldcap Moss-eater, which fits with shape and color. But then I have those questions (see above) that cause some difficulties. Anyone agree or disagree?
Either way, a neat but difficult micro!

here is a clear picture of one, but your version is either different, or its head is tucked down.
