Size: 2 inches long
this was found near a pond, it could go across the water without any problems.

The dorsal markings on the head
look more like D. triton than D. striatus to me.

Can you tell us the date the image was taken? Also spiders are measured without the legs, so the Dolomedes are usually around one inch long. This is the first image of this species posted for AB.

not dangerous
The venom of this spider is not dangerous to people. It would also be very rare for one to bite a person.
