Mom and baby spiders? - Enoplognatha ovata

Mom and baby spiders? - Enoplognatha ovata
Sammamish, King County, Washington, USA
July 4, 2012
Not sure if this spider was tending the baby spiders or preying on them. It's activities seemed benign but it was hard to tell.

The large spider looks to be Enoplognathus
while the spiderlings look to be Araneus. Interesting? Coincidental meeting?
